Unfortunately due to the excessive number of “Unexcused Lates”, we have no other choice but to assign detentions to students who have THREE unexcused lates. 2013 Graduates, and QE grads from any previous year, can now add themselves to the Grad List. Leave an email address and a message to stay in touch with friends. Click here to view the list of 2162 graduates from 1955 to 2012 who have already been added.
Students taking Workplace Safety 3220 should bring in their $50 fee for the First Aid course to the office as soon as possible. Only those students whose fees are paid in advance will be registered for the course. The course will go ahead in mid to late May.

Congratulations go out to four Queen Elizabeth students for each winning gold medals at Skills Canada Competition held at the College of the North Atlantic, last Friday. Students at QueenE participated in “Penny Wars”, a fun twist on the standard penny drive. Students were organized into teams and competed to see which team could bring in the most pennies. What made the competition more exciting was that teams could cancel the pennies of other teams by placing coins of higher value [more...]

Buses will begin their runs at 11:00 and classes will start at 11:40. There will be no cafeteria service today.
The Queen Elizabeth Improv team finished 2nd in the Newfoundland Improv Games. The team did an awesome job during the preliminary round and carried that momentum into the finals. In the finals, the team treated the audience to an excellent show. QE finished in 2nd place against stiff competition from the 8 other teams.

Reminder to students that you are not to spray deodorants e.g. Axe Spray anywhere in the building and that includes change rooms. Some students are severely impacted by these scents and could require hospitalization should they come in contact with these sprays.
Teachers have a full day School Development Inservice on Thursday, March 28th.
