Queen Elizabeth will be holding its annual Co-Curricular Awards Banquet on Wednesday, June 19 starting at 7 pm. Awards in sports, music ,drama and other co-curricular areas will be presented. Members of any co-curricular activity should contact their coach or teacher if they wish to attend the event. The cost is $5.

Students taking Workplace Safety 3220 should bring in their $50 fee for the First Aid course to the office as soon as possible. Only those students whose fees are paid in advance will be registered for the course. The course will go ahead in mid to late May.
All prom fees must be paid before April 30th. A group of 4 tickets costs $335.00 – each graduate pays $75+$35 for awards night, and then each additional ticket costs $75. Once again the Queen Elizabeth Regional High School Choir and Jazz Band will be participating in the Rotary Music Festival. Students at QueenE participated in “Penny Wars”, a fun twist on the standard penny drive. Students were organized into teams and competed to see which team could bring in the most pennies. Graduates are reminded that the recycling program to help offset prom fees is ending this Thursday, March 28. As well, remaining prom fees can now be paid at any time, but are due in full by April 30. Requests for extra tickets are being granted to Step-Parents only.
On April 12th and 13th, we’re going to be part of a global movement team to help reduce poverty and increase social justice. We will be depriving ourselves of something that is important to each of us for 30 hours.
