Queen Elizabeth will be holding its annual Co-Curricular Awards Banquet on Wednesday, June 19 starting at 7 pm. Awards in sports, music ,drama and other co-curricular areas will be presented. Members of any co-curricular activity should contact their coach or teacher if they wish to attend the event. The cost is $5.

It’s an evening of music and entertainment along with a dessert auction, an auction of goods and a 50/50 draw. Doors open at 6:30. Admission is 5 dollars. We are gratefully accepting any donations for this important [more...] Students taking Workplace Safety 3220 should bring in their $50 fee for the First Aid course to the office as soon as possible. Only those students whose fees are paid in advance will be registered for the course. The course will go ahead in mid to late May. All prom fees must be paid before April 30th. A group of 4 tickets costs $335.00 – each graduate pays $75+$35 for awards night, and then each additional ticket costs $75. Students participating must arrive at the MUN Music School one hour before their clinic/adjudication begins. The clinics are free and open to the public so anyone who would like to watch is welcome. The schedule [more...] Students at QueenE participated in “Penny Wars”, a fun twist on the standard penny drive. Students were organized into teams and competed to see which team could bring in the most pennies. What made the competition more exciting was that teams could cancel the pennies of other teams by placing coins of higher value [more...] Students in level III come prepared to have outdoor photo taken for the Yearbook on Wednesday. Group Photos for the Yearbook will be taken in school on April 16th. Graduates are reminded that the recycling program to help offset prom fees is ending this Thursday, March 28. As well, remaining prom fees can now be paid at any time, but are due in full by April 30. Requests for extra tickets are being granted to Step-Parents only. On April 12th and 13th, we’re going to be part of a global movement team to help reduce poverty and increase social justice. We will be depriving ourselves of something that is important to each of us for 30 hours.
