On Saturday, December 10th, a group of Queen Elizabeth students participated in Conception Bay South’s Annual Santa Claus Parade. Queen Elizabeth’s parade entry was a Polar Express themed float, and special thanks go out to McDonald’s Restaurant and to the Student Council for making this project a success. Congrats to all those involved!
On Nov 9 and 10, 2011, Our School hosted two assemblies. The Remembrance Day assembly focused on the contribution of a fellow Canadian, Captain John McRae, who penned In Flanders Fields. Halloween is alive and well at Queen Elizabeth Regional High School! The art class worked tirelessly for a month using their lunch hours and after school to create a Spooky QueenE atmosphere.
