QueenE Students Walk for Wishes!

Along with 11 community sponsors, Queen Elizabeth High School hosted the 2nd Annual C.B.S. Wish Maker Walk. Once again QueenE students walked the walk! Holiday Concert 2011

The Queen Elizabeth Holiday Concert 2011 will be held on Thursday, December 15th at 7pm in the School Gymnasium. Doors open at 6:30pm. PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES POSTPONED!

Due to the adverse weather conditions, the Parent-Teacher Conferences scheduled for Thursday, November 24th are now postponed to Thursday, December 1st from 1-4 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. There are no appointments for these conferences.

QE Boys Volleyball Team Undefeated

The Queen Elizabeth Boys Volleyball Team went undefeated in the regional qualifier for 4A provincials. They will be playing in the provincial championships Dec 2-3 in Grand Falls-Windsor.

25 female students attended the Women In Mining Forum hosted at the Delta Hotel. On Wednesday Nov 2, the students attended a panel discussion about opportunities for women in mining. Report Cards and Parent-Teacher Conferences

Students will be given their report cards at 2:15 Friday, November 18th and Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, November 24th from 1-4 and 6:30-8:30. No appointments are necessary. We look forward to seeing you on the 24th.

QueenE Students Attend Canadian Student Leadership Conference (CLSC)

From Sept 27th to Oct 1st, 2011, 4 students from QueenE attended the CSLC in Corner Brook. These Pioneers were among 1100 young people from across the country who were eager to strengthen their leadership skills. QueenE Students Promote Healthy Living

Students participated in the Annual Healthy Commotions Day on Wednesday, October 12th. Students participated in 23 FREE fun activities. The morning was jammed full of boys vs. girl competitions ranging from rubber chicken relays to competitions using hula hoops.
